Microsoft Surface Electronic Signature Capture

By: Daryl Bernstein / Wednesday, June 20, 2012

Microsoft announced a new portable computer called Surface that's a heads-on competitor to the ubiquitous iPad. The Surface has an elegant and professional design, and is just slightly thinner and lighter than the iPad. A major differentiator is the Surface's built-in magnetic cover, which also serves as a touch keyboard. Surface will run the new Windows 8 operating system.

Given the long-time popularity of Windows in business environments, we suspect Surface will gain popularity for corporate deployments and field operations. The logical question, then, is how will RightSignature electronic signature capture work on Surface devices?

RightSignature is committed to enabling users to fill out and sign documents anywhere, on any device. Surface will be no different. Parties will be able to complete documents, enter text in form fields, and create a real hand-drawn signature on the Surface touchscreen.

Surface will also take advantage of Microsoft's SkyDrive cloud file storage system. With RightSignature's SkyDrive e-signature integration, you can already send SkyDrive documents for signature from within RightSignature. This capability will empower mobile professionals to take full advantage of RightSignature on Surface devices, sending documents for signature even when they're traveling or away from their desks.

RightSignature is the easiest, fastest way to get your documents filled out and signed online.
